Description
The Filax 2 is a fast transfer switch for sensitive loads such as computers and modern entertainment equipment. It normally feeds them from a priority source (the mains, shore power or a generator) and moves them to an alternate source, typically an inverter, if that supply fails. The changeover takes 16 ms, quick enough for sensitive equipment to keep running. It is not meant for heavy household loads such as washing machines or electric motors.
