Description
The Cyrix battery combiner is a heavy-duty, microprocessor-controlled relay that links two battery banks in parallel once one of them reaches its charging voltage, and separates them again when the voltage falls below float level, so a discharging bank never drags the other down. Because it loses virtually no voltage, chargers and alternators do not need their output raised, which makes it a better replacement for a diode isolator.
