Description
The Buck-Boost DC-DC converter charges a service battery from a vehicle's smart alternator. Alternators on Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines are managed by the engine electronics and often do not give a service battery the charge it needs; this converter sits between the two batteries and makes sure the service battery is charged properly.
This listing is the 25A Buck-Boost DC/DC converter: it accepts 10 to 30 V in and delivers 10 to 30 V out, at up to 25 A continuously, fully rated up to 60 °C. Its settings are programmable.
