Description
An Argofet battery isolator lets one alternator, or a charger with a single output, charge two or three batteries at the same time while keeping the batteries apart, so draining one does not drain the others. Unlike a diode isolator it loses almost no voltage, averaging about a tenth of a volt at higher currents, so the batteries get the full charging voltage. It also has an input to energise the alternator.
