Description
The Orion-Tr Smart is a DC-DC battery charger for dual-battery systems on boats and in vehicles, where the alternator and starter battery charge a separate service battery. It charges in three adaptive stages, suits lead-acid and lithium batteries and detects when the engine is running. Bluetooth lets it be set up and monitored in the VictronConnect app, and a remote on/off input allows it to be switched remotely. This isolated version keeps the input and output grounds separate.
This listing is the Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-18A (220W) Isolated DC-DC charger: 8 to 17 V in, 12.2 V out at up to 18 A continuously (220 W at 40°C). Several units can be connected in parallel for more output.
