Description
The MultiPlus-II is an inverter/charger with two AC outputs, used on boats, in vehicles and in off-grid and grid-connected buildings. It charges the batteries from shore power, a generator or the grid, and if that supply is lost it switches to battery power within milliseconds so sensitive electronics stay on. PowerControl keeps it from overloading a weak grid or generator connection, and PowerAssist adds battery power when demand peaks. It is also the central unit of Victron's ESS energy storage systems, and with a GX device it can be monitored and controlled remotely through VRM.
This listing is the MultiPlus-II 48/15000/200-100 230V: 48 V battery, 230 VAC output, 12,000 W continuous at 25°C and 27,000 W peak, with up to 200 A of charge current and a 100 A transfer switch. Maximum efficiency is 95 %.
