The GlobalLink gives remote monitoring of a Victron system where there is no internet connection, whether off-grid, on the road or at sea. It has a cellular modem and a prepaid SIM with five years of connectivity included, extendable afterwards, and links two VE.Direct products, for example a BMV battery monitor and an MPPT solar charger, to Victron's VRM portal. Compatible Victron Smart products can also connect to it over Bluetooth, and it has two digital inputs, a relay that can be switched remotely, and support for RuuviTag wireless temperature sensors.
This listing is the GlobalLink 520. The 520 uses LTE-M, a low-power network for connected devices which is not available everywhere; the 530 uses 4G with 2G fallback for wider coverage.
