Description
The CAN-bus Temp. Sensor measures the temperature of a lithium (LFP) battery and passes it to a Buck-Boost DC-DC converter. Lithium batteries must be charged more gently when cold: the converter reduces the charge current below 5°C and stops charging below freezing, so this sensor is needed whenever a Buck-Boost converter charges an LFP battery.
