Description
Victron's sealed, valve-regulated deep cycle batteries come in two types. AGM batteries have a very low internal resistance, which suits heavy short loads such as inverters, bow thrusters and winches, while GEL batteries last longest and stand up best to repeated deep discharges. Both are made with lead-calcium grids and high-purity materials, so they hold their charge well when left unused for long periods.
This listing is the 12V/38Ah AGM Deep Cycle Batt.: 12 V, 38 Ah over a 20-hour discharge. Construction: Flat plate AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat). Victron gives a float design life of 7-10 years at 20°C and about 600 cycles at 50% depth of discharge. It weighs 12.5 kg.
