Description
Victron's sealed, valve-regulated deep cycle batteries come in two types. AGM batteries have a very low internal resistance, which suits heavy short loads such as inverters, bow thrusters and winches, while GEL batteries last longest and stand up best to repeated deep discharges. Both are made with lead-calcium grids and high-purity materials, so they hold their charge well when left unused for long periods.
This listing is the 12V/220Ah Gel Deep Cycle Batt.: 12 V, 220 Ah over a 20-hour discharge. Construction: Flat plate GEL (electrolyte is immobilized as gel). Victron gives a float design life of 12 years at 20°C and about 750 cycles at 50% depth of discharge. It weighs 66 kg.
